No ZSPEC is not RSM, ZSPEC is a completely different company that bought out RSM inventory (due to RSM going out of business because of said shitty service) and is selling off everything, we have had several members of aleromod order from ZSPEC in the last 3 months with no problems at all....

Did they buy out the employees as well? Because Zsolt is still there (goto the Engineering services and then Contact information). Ben has many a hate mail from Zsolt concerning this bushings... I hate to tell you, but its the same company, just under a new name.

Yeah. To enlighten those that don't know, Ben bought a RSM poly bushing kit from RSM a long time ago. Then when he went to install it, none of the bushings fit and RSM basically told him that it was impossible. Eventually he sent it back for a refund. Then RSM claimed to have installed it on a GP and said he must not have know what he was doing. What they didn't say was the GP was 97(8?)+ and they sent him the wrong kit and still blamed him for "not being smart enough to install a bushing kit" IIRC. Luckily all the RSM stuff that is on my car was on there and the previous owner dealt with them, and not me.

Z-spec is all the same RSM guys. They Changed the name to keep from geting sued by people like myself. i went to Toronto and had the kit installed and it ran OK for 1.5 years then the shaft bearing let go. I have since upgraded the shaft bearing and am in the process of putting the kit back properly. With FORGED pistons.......with larger Injectors and with a real tune. and with a MAF. RSM and Z-spec are a bunch of wanna be's that dont know how to tune and dont know how to tell the truth. I have the full kit plus a whole lot more.......hopefully this time with the help of the guys on this site..........I might actually get something for my effort. I stopped adding up the money years ago....i dont even want to know.................oh did i mention it all Blew up from #6 piston in Jan of 07?. Anyway................you can go to PFYC.com and buy the kit and blow up your car if you want....choice is yours....or....you can wait and see what happens to my new hybrid and Phils efforts with his RSM/Z-Spec Kit.

how much did you have to shell out to get the forged pistons and rebuild the top end with the super charger on it? I imagine it took a good few days to take it appart and put it back together.. lol theres a part of me that kind wants to slap some kind of boost adder to my 3100 if the project wasnt too costly or long to do.

Pistons were 750.00 but there is a set of 400.00 ones on here 20 overbore....and i have a 3400 topend that would go nicely with that 3100............that would get you going in the right direction anyway. I have a brother in Detroit that you could save on shipping and brokerage fees if you are interested in the 3400 topend.
