60V6 Toolbar

On the forum I help run for my FFXI group, we have a toolbar that you can install. It's customizable and has things like:

A button that takes you right to the forum homepage
Search box
Posts alert
PM alert
Email notifier
News Ticker (me being and admin, I can change what it says)
and all sorts of other customizable things that can be added in if you like.

We also have a calendar that people can add notes to to schedule something. It makes it super easy to see what's going on on the forum without having to go there directly and wondered if something like that was doable with our forum, if there was enough interest.

Does it work with VB then? How many resources would that take up on our server?
