I will see if I can find out for you, and post up as soon as I do. This transmission was never installed in my car. Its a 4t65HD.

oh ok. i have the 65e in my car. i think the 45e and 65e are very similar in size. but the 65ehd the differential is bigger on the HD so it uses shorter axels. but with either swap going to the HD you need the new axels since they are shorter to accomendate the bigger differential, is that why you have those as well? Because i read that in one post somewhere on another forum but i dont know the validity of it.

The swap from a 45e to a 65e requires custom axles (65e hd axles are not plug and play), it also requires custom mounts and a PCM recal.

what i am saying is i have a 65e transmission already, the fact that the differential on the HD version is bigger and has shorter axels which my guess is to accomendate the bigger diff. since the standard 65e was in the GP already on the non-SC version and its the same platform of course they would make it so when they introduced the HD trans into that car that it would require minimal modification. so when upgrading to the 65eHD will having the axels make it a pretty much direct swap is what im asking.

Yes. Only one of the axles is different, I believe the drivers side, and the other can be re-used.
