well, i went racing and ended up somehow cracking the side cover by a bolt boss toward the bottom. since i'll have that much out, i might as well take the pan off and install a shift kit. just not sure which one to use. suggestions? i'm looking for a firm yet quick up/down shift that maybe won't chirp the tires at WOT, yet not too harsh for normal driving. suggestions?

there aren't "shift kits" there are shift correction items, Gill Younger stuff would be a good start.

Ok, sorry Trans Go parts... aka Gill Younger shift improvement kits...

http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...00%2D000037937

Thats your only "shift kit" choice and its not like the old 350 shift kits where you could choose a valve body plate to frim up the shifts.
