Exclamation 4T60E question for Gen 1 W-Body

I was wondering if 4T60E out of a 92 Z34 with a 3.4 would work in a 93 Lumina 3.1. I know the FDR is different and that I would have to chip the ECU to correct this but I need to know if the trans mount is in the same place, if the VSS is the same, and if it will bolt up to the engine. the next question is can I use the torque converter from the 3.4 with the 3.1 because I was told that it has a higher stall than the 3.1.

If they are both 4t60E transmissions, shouldnt have a problem. Not sure if changing the torque converter will mess with the tuning tho.

Any '91-'93 3.4 TDC transmission will work with a '93 3.1. The speedo should not be an issue as I belive the tone wheels have the same number of teeth. Torque converters should actually be the same, you can check by looking at the sticker on the nose end of the converter and comparing the 4 digit code. Should start with an F.

All the 3.1 hardware you have will bolt up to it. Mounts, brakets, electrical connectors, shifter cable, and park/neutral switch.
