ok this is probably a long shot on here and dont kill me yet.

but would anyone happen to know the fuel pressure for the series 3 3800 with the 36lb injectors, ive been looking ariound and cant find anything solid.

i was trying to find something written up by GM you know like a detailed spec sheet of the engine as far as fuel pressure and what not goes.

You should be able to look it up on that site. I don't know what a 3800 S3 came in, otherwise I'd look it up.

There is always the possibility that they didn't use Delphi injectors in that engine, therefore the linked site not having any information.

Did you try Witchhunter?

It appears they are Bosch EV6 injectors. The Bosch website just lists them as their flowrates (in g/sec) @ 3-bar (~44psi).

http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/pdf/components/injection_valves/EV_6.pdf

Since the Series 3 uses a returnless fuel system, and the regulator is therefore built into the fuel pump, you might be able to do a search on that to find the pressure output at the pump.

That lists output of 430kPa, which converts to ~62.4psi. Say there is som pressure drop through the lines, and I'd guess you are looking at ~55psi at the rail.

That site used to have the specs for there older injectors. But lately they have been removed. Now you can only get specs for the current production or very late model injectors.

FYI, delphi injectors were used in it (or at least licensed by Bosch). Look up part number FJ10300.

Those injectors are actually 33 lb/hr (@ 43.5 PSI). It's the increase in fuel pressure to 55 PSI that makes them run at 36 lb/hr.

That would make them 42# (41.7) at 55psi.

ive got an adjustable FPR so adjusting wont be a problem.

so with all these number what am i looking at for 55 psi at the rail. once i get it going i can drop the pressure

Not according to witchhunter.com. It says it would be 37.1# at 55 PSI.
